According to DCD, European cloud operator Nebius has launched a massive Nvidia GPU cluster near London in the UK. The deployment at Ark Data Centres’ Longcross Park campus in Surrey totals 126 racks across three data center halls with 16MW of capacity. The first phase comprises 4,000 Nvidia HGX B300 GPUs housed in Nebius’ self-developed Gen5 servers, with a second phase adding another 3,000 B300s. The air-cooled clusters feature Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking and were deployed in just two months. Customers already lined up include life sciences AI startups Basecamp Research, Prime Mente, and Sword Health.
European AI Race Heats Up
